Cost Centre Administration allows customers the flexibility to self-manage their cost centres, with the ability to add, update & delete cost centres directly via COSnet.

Please note this access is only available for the following user levels; ‘Administrator Maintenance’, ‘Administrator Unrestricted’ & ‘Superusers’.

Once logged in, ‘Cost Centre Administration’ can be found under the ‘My Admin’ tab located on the top right hand side of the webpage next to the ‘My COSnet’ menu.

The Cost Centre Administration page provides a quick snapshot of all your existing cost centres. There is a search bar located at the top of the page to help search for specific cost centres & a nifty ‘Linked Users’ function which you can click to view all users whom have ordering rights for a particular cost centre.

Adding a New Cost Centre

To add a new ‘Cost Centre’ click the ‘Add New Cost Centre’ button which will redirect you to a new page.

Enter in your cost centre information into the appropriate fields provided & once complete click the ‘Add This Cost Centre’ button to create the new cost centre. Please note you must enter a cost centre ‘Code’, ‘Name’ & select a default ‘delivery address’ in order to successfully add a new cost centre.

Editing a Cost Centre

Start by finding the cost centre you wish to edit by either scrolling through your list of cost centres or by using the search bar located at the top of the page. Once you have found the cost centre you wish to edit click on the ‘Edit’ icon.

This will take you to the ‘Edit Cost Centre’ page.  Exactly like adding a new cost centre, enter in the details you wish to change and click the ‘Update This Cost Centre’ button located at the bottom of the page to complete.  Please note if you wish to change a cost centre ‘code’ you will need to contact our friendly Customer Relations Consultants via live chat or alternatively you can email info@cos.net.au or call us on 1300 88 22 44 to make the amendment for you.

Deleting a Cost Centre

Like editing a cost centre you will first need to find the cost centre you wish to delete. Once you have found the cost centre, click on the trash bin icon.

A pop up window will appear asking you to enter a reason for deletion. In the event there are active users linked to the cost centre you are about to delete you will also be asked to select an alternate cost centre to transfer the users to.

Once reason has been entered & alternate cost centre selected click the ‘Ok’ button to complete action.
